Building Momentum focus of CAMSC Networking Event – 14th annual Diversity Procurement Fair

Toronto – Networking Reception, SD Talks and Keynote Luncheon at CAMSC’s 14th Annual Diversity Procurement Fair. Near 400 Representatives from major North American corporations and Aboriginal and minority-owned suppliers are having two days networking and hearing from leaders in supplier diversity. CAMSC (Canadian Aboriginal and Minority Supplier Council) corporate members have spent MORE THAN $3 Billion with its certified suppliers since 2004.

WHAT:
April 10, at 5 – 8 p.m.: Networking Reception (It features an African youth dance troupe and welcome remarks by Jeff Leal, Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, Ontario Government.)

April 11, at 8 - 9:30 a.m.: Networking Breakfast & SD Talks: A Passionate View of Supplier (SD Talks featuring representatives from Walker Law, Topnotch and LA Metal Stamping. The speakers will share the challenges they faced and the lessons learned on the road to success in supplier diversity. Minister of Government and Consumer Services (MGCS), Tracy MacCharles, will extend her greeting remarks.)

April 11, at 12 - 1:30 p.m.: Keynote Luncheon (Louis Green, Interim President, National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC), U.S. will deliver the luncheon keynote address about key NMSDC successes in advancing supplier diversity. Steven MacKinnon, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Public Services and Procurement (PSPC), Government of Canada will welcome the guests of the Procurement Fair.)
