Candace DiCresce Generates Dialogue on Well-Being
at Rogers Communications

Candace DiCresce, Senior Director, Safety & Well-being at Rogers Communications, is building a mental health program for employees from the ground up. After understanding the baseline against the CSA Standard for Psychological Health & Safety in the Workplace, she and her team initiated conversations with business and HR leaders to define a path, firmly rooted in Rogers culture, to protect and enrich employee well-being. Her team partners with internal stakeholders like Diversity & Inclusion to better define and meet the needs of Rogers diverse workforce, and to drive integrated dialogue about mental and physical safety and well-being. As her strategies grow and evolve to a more tactical level, Candace and her team continue to promote their programs internally, engaging leaders and employees to participate in - and take ownership of — the Rogers safety & well-being journey.

She has instituted a number of best practices focused on a vision of integrating the organization’s support for employees’ mental, physical and financial well-being, both at work and in their lives. Success of this journey has been strongly boosted by aligning well-being programs and messaging with other existing, successful employee support programs.
