Christianna Scott is the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) at Air Canada. She has held the position since May 2022 and is recognized for her passion for equality and inclusion of underrepresented people. Christianna strongly advocates for workplace diversity and fosters an inclusive work environment in support of Air Canada’s belief that DEI is an important part of the organization’s success. She strives to give all people a voice that is heard at the table. The dedication she shows to advancing DEI through programs and initiatives that promote a diversified, equitable and inclusive work culture makes her an inspiration to all who know her.
Christianna holds a Bachelor of Laws from the Université de Montréal and a Master of Laws (LLM) from Queen’s University. She has extensive experience in labour, employment, and human rights law and is a member of the Québec Bar. Before her current position, Christianna had worked for 17 years at Air Canada as in-house counsel, moving in 2017 to the federal government to act as an adjudicator with the Social Security Tribunal of Canada. After that, she worked at BNPP in employee relations before assuming her current position at Air Canada.
