As the Managing Director of Talent at the Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo), Siobhan Calderbank focuses on recruitment, talent management, learning, change management, and emerging talent through a diversity and inclusion lens. She advocates for underrepresented groups and is the Co-Chair of the Black Employees & Allies Network. Siobhan’s team developed and launched five new Ornanisational core competencies integrated into AIMCo’s leadership and development programs, career resources, hiring tools, performance management, and succession planning. . She is ensuring the company develops and executes inclusive talent strategies to attract, retain, and grow AIMCo’s global talent pool.
Before her current position, Siobhan led the Talent Management and DEI team at the Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO). While there, she developed a successful Diversity, Inclusion, Belonging & Equity strategy that greatly impacted employees, customers, and communities served. She also founded Butterfly Ladies, a mentoring program for women, especially racialized women. She is an international speaker, author, and consultant; mentor for numerous diversity advocacy non-profits; and a Universal Women’s Network National Ambassador for Black Women, to name a few ways she actively gives back to the community.
