A Truro small business will now be able to compete for more projects thanks to funding from the Canada-Nova Scotia Job Grant. Cumberland North MLA Terry Farrell, on behalf of Labour and Advanced Education Minister Kelly Regan, and MP Scott Armstrong, on behalf of Pierre Poilievre, Minister of Employment and Social Development, made the announcement at Fowler Construction Services.
The company received $16,372 for staff training that will provide them with the certification needed to compete for more projects. The company contributed an additional $6,372.
“This funding has helped me and two of my key employees to further our professional goals,” said Hal Fowler, president, Fowler Construction Services. “We greatly appreciate the opportunity to utilize the available funding to achieve our Gold Seal Certification.
